Building economic legacies, one farmer at a time

At the heart of our work is a belief that healthy communities are built on access to locally grown, nutritious food, and that farmers thrive when they have reliable access to markets within their own communities.

Mission

AgriUnity's mission is to build sustainable economic empowerment among small rural farmers so that they may leave lasting legacies for their families, communities, and culture. We are guided by our founding principles of transparency, teamwork, integrity, service, and commitment.

Our Story

AgriUnity was founded by Handy Kennedy, Jr., a cattle producer and agricultural leader who recognized that small rural farmers possessed generations of agricultural knowledge, deep relationships with the land, and an unmatched commitment to their communities, yet consistently lacked the resources, infrastructure, and market connections needed to fully participate in and benefit from the agricultural economy.

From that vision, AgriUnity was born: a farmer-centered organization built to close the gap between what small rural farmers have to offer and what the food system has historically been willing to provide.
